Sarah and I had a great time this past weekend photographing Stephanie and Bill’s engagement session. We started out at the Cathedral of Learning, where we were lucky enough to grab some sun despite a forecast of scattered thunderstorms. Inside, we explored the Cathedral’s Nationality Rooms, taking fun shots in the Austrian, Ukranian and Japanese rooms. Then we headed out to Hartwood Acres, a dramatic gothic mansion several miles outside the city on vast grounds of greens and woods. We braved the rain and managed to incorporate the umbrella into our shots. After all, what’s more romantic than a walk together in the rain under the shadow of a shared umbrella?

Jorge took our engagement pictures on a rainy Pittsburgh day. He came up with beautiful and creative ways to work with the not so perfect weather. The pictures turned out amazing! He is truly talented. We can’t wait to see the pictures he takes on our wedding day! Thanks again Jorge! ~Steph & Bill

I have to admit – I’m kind of an addict for engagement/wedding photo shoots. I love them, but I am officially smitten by the first umbrella photo! So whimsical I love it! Well done.

Thanks Christina!
