I used to not be a big fan of telephoto lenses. Somehow, I loved the challenge that using an angular or a normal lens represented. But, when I started photographing weddings I realized that many times it’s just too rude to try to capture a photograph of a ceremony with any of those lenses: so, I decided to get a telephoto. I had used the 70-200 2.8 before and I didn’t like that it’s really heavy (2.86 lb); when you have to carry it for a full day it definitely becomes a burden. So, I decided to try the 135 L 2.0 (1.61 lb). I have to say that after using it for a couple of weddings I’m totally in love with this lens. It’s really sharp and fast.
