Amy and Joseph got married last Saturday at the Pittsburgh Friends Meeting House and held a small reception at the Zenith Cafe on the city’s South Side. After the ceremony, the guys from Green Gear Pedicabs took us to the Pitt Campus and the Hot Metal Bridge for some photos. It was a fantastic ride around the city from a unique perspective, and I couldn’t stop snapping photos. Amy and Joe, I really enjoyed photographing your wedding day. Here are some of my favorite images of the day:
Thanks and congratulations!
We first met at St. John’s College in Annapolis, MD during our junior and senior years. We sat on a stone bench on the quad, talking, and stayed even as everyone else went home. We finally agreed to go out for coffee later that week.
That was nearly eight years ago. We have each changed and grown, but have never gone long without finding room in our lives for one another. We are happy and excited to celebrate our commitment to one another.
We’re moving from Pittsburgh to rural Evanston, Wyoming where Amy will begin her pre-doctoral clinical psychology internship on August 1. We thought it best to get married before moving, with a little time in between for a vacation, so get ready for July! Amy and Joseph

Wedding Photography by Jorge Santiago.
Jorge Santiago took beautiful photographs (both formal portraits and documentary photos) of my wedding, which alone are enough for me to recommend him highly. Above and beyond this, Jorge brought incredible energy and enthusiasm to his work. For the duration of the ceremony and reception (and the newlywed photo session in between), he found unique, colorful, attractive shots and captured the emotion of all the important moments in my wedding.
Jorge is also great to work with on a personal level. He was easy to communicate with–he responded quickly to my emails, found a time to meet with me that worked easily with my schedule, and understood what I was hoping for from my wedding photos. Working with Jorge was among the least stressful parts of wedding planning, and I am very happy I chose him to photograph my wedding.
